The BBC discovered the remarkable work we are doing here at St Saviour’s and decided to highlight our efforts. A team from the BBC visited our school to delve deeper into the initiatives we have undertaken.
During their visit, the BBC team filmed an assembly and conducted interviews with both pupils and adults; gathering insights into the pioneering work our school is engaged in for refugees.

Japanese Delegation
This coverage was a fantastic opportunity for our school to showcase the positive impact of our Refugee Project on the local community and it drew attention from councillors all the way in Japan!
A delegation visited St Saviour’s to meet the children and talk to leaders about our initiative and journey to becoming a School of Sanctuary. It was a pleasure to welcome visitors and share the work that we have done and continue to do with the aim to inspire more individuals and communties to educate and support people who have been displaced.
